Challenges
Internet connections at some stores drop often, and the old POS stopped completely when offline.
Stock discrepancies between stores and headquarters were only discovered at the end of the month, when fixing them was already difficult.
Solutions
We built an offline-first app: transactions are stored on the device and sent to the server through a sync queue.
Stock updates with every transaction. Conflicts are resolved by clear rules and logged so they can be traced.
