Flutter or native for your business app?

</>

The question almost always comes up at the start of a mobile project: Flutter or native?

When Flutter fits

Business apps built around forms, lists, and dashboards, especially when you need Android and iOS at the same time with a limited team and budget. One codebase means one team, one schedule, and bug fixes in one place.

When native is better

Apps that depend heavily on advanced device features, such as real-time camera processing, AR, or deep integration with the operating system.

Other considerations

  • Developer availability and long-term maintenance cost
  • How closely the interface must follow each platform
  • App size and performance on low-end devices

For most business apps we build, Flutter is more than enough. We still recommend native when the requirements demand it.
